Audi A4 ? A Highly Recommended Large Family Sedan
Ever since the Audi A4 was launched in the mid 1990s, it has quickly captured the market and became a favorite of luxury car buyers because of its well-designed cabin, superb handling and optional Quattro all-wheel drive. One of the most loved characteristic of the Audi A4 is its distinctly European sensibility and ambiance provided by its tight panel gaps, top-notch materials and firm, comfortable seating. For 2009, the Audi A4 is redesigned to be a much better car than ever before. It is in fact larger than its predecessors by as much as 2.1” wide, 4/6” long with the track longer by about 1.8” and the wheelbase 6.6”longer. And yet, despite the increase in size, the Audi A4 still retains the agility and good handling that has endeared it to many drivers.

The Audi A1 – just another supermini?
For anyone who’s still not convinced that good things come in small packages, take a look at the A1, Audi’s answer to the MINI, the 500, the Polo, the Clio…There has been a veritable influx of superminis recently, so what makes the A1 so special?
Let’s start with the exterior. There’s no doubt the car is a member of the Audi family – the front shows the characteristic Audi grille and the back is reminiscent of the Q5, if a little more rounded. Inside, Audi offers all important comfort, with curved, supportive seats, and practicality – cupholders, coin holder and a decent sized glovebox. Spacewise, there is plenty of room in the boot, and the back offers sufficient for the kids, if not for grown adults.
A three door body will be available initially, with a five door coming onto the market late on. A choice of three four cylinder engines is available: two turbo petrol units (1.2, 85bhp and 1.4, 120bhp) and a 104bhp, 1.6 turbodiesel. The Audi A1 is not a car to zoom off into the distance with a screech of tyres in, but it wasn’t designed for that. The 1.4 litre gets from 0-62 in 8.9 seconds, what this car does offer is flexibility. It’s great for getting around town, and the ride is supple, with neat handling and balance through corners.
With prices starting from £13,145, the A1 is certainly a rival for the MINI One and Ford Fiesta, offering a sophistication and practicality that the others do not. It may lack the edge of a MINI, but its flexibility and ride quality more than makes up for that. Honda Continues Dominance of Car and Driver 10 Best; Honda Classed With Porsche, BMW, Cadillac, and Audi
Once again, Honda’s Accord and Fit (2010 models) have taken their place alongside models from automakers like Porsche, BMW, Cadillac, and Audi on “Car and Driver” magazine’s annual “Ten Best” list. This marks Accord’s 24th (and 13th consecutive) appearance in the 28 years since first appearing on the list in 1983, and marks Fit’s 4th appearance on the list since first appearing in 2007. To add perspective to these accomplishments, no other car even comes close to Accord when it comes to number of appearances on the list, and Fit has appeared on the list every single year it has existed here in the United States.
